The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed constructing is residence to a constantly expanding collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and Modern and Contemporary Art. In 1987, one year after the Renovation, this construction was transformed into Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts by the City People’s Committee. However, due to the lack of artifacts, it did not go into operation till 1992. More than a bodily space, it is the home of many sculptures, work and artifacts that contribute to the event of fantastic arts in Ho Chi Minh City.
