A resume is an important document, but we believe it should remain in a candidate’s control. itzbig doesn’t ask for or keep resumes anywhere on the network because we believe that the skills and experiences our candidates list in their profiles provide a more accurate foundation for matching. You may ask for a candidate’s resume and we’re happy to help with this transfer but, rest assured, the profile is where it’s at.

We want our candidates to remain anonymous as long as they like. itzbig requires no name, resume or any other personal identifiable information, and this helps working professionals feel safe and willing to put themselves out there for you to find them. You may require information in order to consider them for the opportunities you represent, and you are free to request it once mutual interest has been established.

What is a candidate profile?
The profile is itzbig’s user candidates’ key to describing the type of opportunity that best matches what they are interested in. A profile includes specific information about their ideal position, the location where they want to work, and the skills they possess that are important. It can also include other details about their education, salary requirements, and whether they are interested in consulting or working as an employee. The profile information is what our system uses to ensure that a candidate satisfies your criteria – and vice versa.

Instead of free form job descriptions, you will create job profiles to best describe the qualifications and requirements of your open positions. The job profile includes the same information as a candidate profile such as position, location, skills, and experience. Since both you and candidates use our profiling system, this allows our system to accurately match you to the best candidates for your positions. No more filtering through endless stacks of resumes- only the candidates who meet your criteria are matched to your jobs.

A match shows you how well your job matches up with a candidate’s skills & preferences. itzbig takes into consideration not only what you need in terms of job requirements but also the candidate’s interests. We display a match signal which provides you with a convenient method for seeing how well your job meets the candidate’s interests – for example, you could get an Okay match or a Great match.
